Jodie has been fighting for the proper legalization of marijuana for over 15 years. The landscape today for Cannabis has changed drastically since Jodie first began her mission to have cannabis legalized throughout Canada. While technically recreational marijuana is legal in Canada, Jodie explains that the current legislation has created some glaring issues that need to be addressed.

Thousands of Canadians are still suffering from non-violent, cannabis related charges. The government still spends an extraordinary amount of money to police the use of marijuana. Regulation is killing quality cannabis in an attempt to maximize tax revenue for the government. The legislation around cannabis is preventing fair competition, when a true free market would improve the quality of the product and the industry as a whole.
