Cycles of Abuse with Pany Aghili

It’s sad to say, but cases of domestic violence have been on the rise in Vancouver.

Pany Aghili is the Executive Director of the Dixon Society, an organization which provides shelter and support to women and children who have been impacted by violence.

Unfortunately, the number of impacted women far exceeds the available resources that organizations like the Dixon Society have, and every year hundreds of women are turned away or denied shelter.

Pany has devoted her career to ending the cycles of abuse around women. In this episode we dive into the causes and solutions that exist, and hear some incredible stories of women who have escaped a life of violence and gone on to do incredible things.
