The Reality of Vancouver’s Infrastructure

What is engineering’s role for Vancouver? Where do we get our drinking water? What are the biggest risks facing Vancouver today?

Earthquakes, model cities and more. Today, we touch on just about everything with Lon LaClaire, General Manager of Engineering Services at the City of Vancouver.

Lon has been working at the City for 25 years, where he started as a Transportation Engineer in 1997. Vancouverites have indirectly benefited from Lon’s travels to other major cities around the world, bringing back with him new ideas of how to make our municipality a more thriving, livable city.
