Mayor of Port Coquitlam Brad West

A life-long resident of Port Coquitlam, Brad West was first elected to Council in 2008. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2014, receiving the most votes of all candidates both times.

In 2018, he was elected as the 16th Mayor of the City of Port Coquitlam. Brad is focused on making Port Coquitlam the best place in BC to raise a family. While he stated that he has no intention of running for a provincial or federal political position in the future, his presence is being felt far beyond the geographical boundaries of PoCo.
